This course deals only with a part of the PADI Open Water Diver course and brings you to a limited diving certification that allows you to discover the wonderful landscapes that hide beneath the surface in the company of a diving guide.
PADI Scuba Diver program
During your PADI Scuba Diver course you will learn the use of diving equipment‚ buoyancy skills including descents/ascents and hydrodynamics‚ underwater breathing techniques‚ underwater environments and how to prevent and manage problems. The PADI Scuba Diver course is divided into three main parts:
- Knowledge Development (first three chapters; online with individual study or in the classroom)‚ to understand the basic principles of diving;
- Three lessons in confined waters‚ where you will learn the basic skills of diving;
- Two lessons in open water‚ to revise your skills and explore.
PADI Scuba Diver Equipment
Evasioni Blu Diving Resort in Ustica and Isola delle Femmine (Palermo) will provide for all the equipment you need‚ including a dive computer and standard accessories for your PADI Scuba Diver course.
PADI Scuba Diver prerequisites
Being at least 15 years old.
Credit/Certification PADI Scuba Diver
If you successfully complete your PADI Scuba Diver course you will receive your PADI Scuba Diver certificate. The PADI Scuba Diver certification allows you to dive up to a maximum depth of 12m under the direct supervision of a professional diver. Continue your diving training by completing the PADI Open Water Diver course or by enrolling to PADI Specialties such as Project AWARE Specialist or Equipment Specialist.
